We counted how much RNBW has been bought back off the market
The question "does the project hand money back to holders" is usually settled on trust. It can be checked against the chain — we checked, and got a number.
What we found
20,565,580 RNBW bought off the market between February and October 2026. The buyer is the treasury address 0xcaa9bFCbc9ff87428535bc4E163296c3A8ae308E — a Safe multisig where a transfer needs two signatures out of three. The threshold and the number of owners were read straight from the contract.
These are purchases, not merely arrivals. In every trade the address paid out USDC in the same transaction. The token came through Uniswap and Aerodrome pools, with market orders.
Nothing is sold back. What is bought stays on the address. That is what separates a treasury from a trading bot: neighbouring addresses show 24,000 trades at a zero balance, this one twenty-eight purchases and not a single sale.
Two traps that are easy to fall into
Receiving the token from a pool looks identical for a purchase and for a withdrawal of one's own liquidity. In the transfer log the two lines cannot be told apart. They have to be separated by the matching USDC movement: in a purchase the address pays, in a liquidity withdrawal it receives.
One February arrival had no payment against it — 2,978,183 RNBW. We do not count it as a purchase and have subtracted it. Without that check the total would have been fourteen per cent too high.
What is not here
No obligation to buy back is fixed on chain: there is no contract routing a share of fees into purchases of the token, and no document requiring it. The buyback remains a company decision.
